Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Ashney ("we", "us"), including the site at ashney.ai and the product at app.ashney.ai. By using Ashney, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

What Ashney is

Ashney is a job-discovery assistant. It reads roles from companies' public careers pages and other public sources, scores how well each maps to the experience you give us, and surfaces the ones worth your attention. Ashney is not a recruiter, an employer, or an agent acting on your behalf, and using Ashney does not create any employment or agency relationship.

Eligibility and your account

You must be at least 18 years old to use Ashney. Sign-in is passwordless: keep access to your email secure, since anyone with your inbox can access your account. You are responsible for the activity under your account.

Accuracy of role information

Role data is gathered from public sources and can be incomplete, out of date, or already filled by the time you see it. Fit and freshness scores are informational signals, not promises. Always verify a role on the employer's official page before acting on it. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or hiring decisions of any third-party employer.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the service. In particular, you will not:

• scrape, resell, or redistribute Ashney's data or output in bulk;
• attempt to breach, overload, or reverse-engineer the service;
• use Ashney to violate any law or the terms of any third-party site; or
• impersonate others or misrepresent your identity or experience to us.

Intellectual property

Ashney, including its name, design, and software, belongs to us. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable right to use the service for your own job search. You keep ownership of the profile information you provide, and you grant us the permission needed to process it to operate the service.

Third-party links and sites

Ashney links to employers' careers pages and other external sites. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, availability, or practices.

Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost opportunities, arising from your use of, or inability to use, the service.

Termination

You may stop using Ashney and close your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if these terms are breached or if we need to for legal, security, or operational reasons.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product evolves. When we make material changes, we will update the date above. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts located in India will have jurisdiction over any dispute, unless your local consumer-protection law provides otherwise.
