Issue of 2 November 2026This week's read
Hiring for Talent Acquisition roles in India picked up this month. In the last 30 days, 171 new roles were posted, up from 125 in the prior 30 days, a 37% rise. The weekly count has also held firm: the week of 26 October brought 55 new roles, matching the peak week on record, so there is no sign of the pace slowing yet.
If you are job hunting here, move quickly. The median role stays open just 4 days before it closes, so postings do not sit around waiting for applicants. With 256 companies currently hiring, there is choice, but you need to act on a listing soon after it appears.
Most of these jobs are not senior roles. 61% are listed as mid-level, 18% as junior, and only 16% as senior. Just 10% ask for 10 or more years of experience, and where years are stated, the median minimum is 3. Remote work is rare, at just 2% of open roles, and pay is rarely posted, with only 3% of listings showing a salary.
One employer stands out by volume: OneTP has 66 open roles, well ahead of Paytm at 16 and Weekday at 10. Beyond that, the top 8 employers together hold 28% of all open roles, so hiring is spread across many smaller employers too. On the skills side, ATS is named in 26% of postings, LinkedIn Ads in 18%, and LinkedIn Recruiter in 10%, giving a sense of the tools that show up most often in these job descriptions.
What this means for you
Three things you can act on this week
- Apply within days, not weeks
The median role stays open only 4 days. If you see a posting that fits, apply right away rather than waiting.
- Most roles are mid-level
61% of roles are mid-level and only 10% ask for 10 or more years of experience, so a long senior track record is not the norm here.
- Check the tools named most
ATS appears in 26% of postings, LinkedIn Ads in 18%, and LinkedIn Recruiter in 10%. See how your experience with these lines up before applying.
Momentum
New Recruiting roles each week
Last 30 days: 171 new roles, against 125 the 30 days before (+37%). Each week counts the same companies, and a role counts as new only in the week it was posted, so a careers site we start reading never shows up as growth.
