Issue of 2 November 2026This week's read
There are 116 open Talent Acquisition roles across 95 companies in the rest of Latin America right now. New postings in the last 30 days came to 49, up from 48 the month before, a 2% rise. The weekly count has moved between 9 and 17 new roles since early September, and the week of 26 October matched the high point set back on 21 Sep at 17.
No single employer dominates this market. The top 8 companies, including Cnx, Sanofi and Scotiabank, each have 2 or 3 open roles, and together they make up just 20% of all postings. That means the roles are spread across many smaller employers rather than concentrated in a few big ones.
Most roles here are aimed at people already in the field. 77% are listed at mid level, with 10% senior, 6% junior, 4% principal and 3% lead. Where years of experience are stated, which is 55% of postings, the typical minimum asked is 3 years, and none of the roles ask for 10 or more years.
On tools, an applicant tracking system comes up most: ATS is named in 31% of postings. LinkedIn Ads appears in 12%, LinkedIn Recruiter in 10%, and Workday in 8%. Certifications barely come up at all: PHR and SHRM certification are each named in just 1% of postings. Remote work is on offer in 22% of roles, meaning most jobs still expect you on site.
What this means for you
Three things you can act on this week
- Aim mid level, 3 years
77% of roles are mid level and the typical minimum experience asked is 3 years where stated. This is not a market heavy on senior or 10-plus-year openings.
- Know an ATS
ATS tools are named in 31% of postings, well ahead of any other tool. LinkedIn Ads and LinkedIn Recruiter follow at 12% and 10%.
- Look beyond the big names
No employer has more than 3 open roles and the top 8 hold only 20% of all postings. Widen your search across the 95 companies hiring rather than chasing a handful of names.
Momentum
New Recruiting roles each week
Last 30 days: 49 new roles, against 48 the 30 days before (+2%). Each week counts the same companies, and a role counts as new only in the week it was posted, so a careers site we start reading never shows up as growth.
