Issue of 2 November 2026

This week's read

Sales hiring across the rest of Latin America is up 86% over the past 30 days, with 359 new roles posted compared with 193 in the prior month. There are now 959 open sales roles from 383 different companies, and a role stays open for a median of 20 days before closing.

But the weekly pace has cooled since its high point. New postings hit 133 in the week of 19 October, the busiest week on record here, then fell to 113 the following week, a drop of 15% from that peak. So while the month looks strong overall, the most recent week is quieter than the one before it.

No single company is driving most of the hiring. Boldteam leads with 31 open roles, followed by Cnx with 22, Advice with 20, and Millicom and Mercado Libre each with around 18 or 19. Even combined, the top 8 employers hold only 17% of all open roles, which tells you hiring is spread thin across the 383 companies posting, not concentrated in a few big names.

This is a market for people with a few years of experience, not entry level and not veterans. The median minimum experience asked is 3 years, and only 6% of postings want 10 or more years. Among roles that state a seniority level in the title, 85% are mid-level, with senior titles making up just 7%.

On tools, CRM know-how is the most asked-for skill, showing up in 26% of postings, followed by Salesforce at 14% and HubSpot at 7%. If you are looking to work from home, know that only 9% of these roles are listed as remote, so most expect you in the office or on the road.

What this means for you

Three things you can act on this week

  • Move quickly once you apply

Roles stay open a median of 20 days. With postings up 86% over the past month, act fast once you see something that fits rather than waiting.

  • This market wants mid-level sellers

85% of titled roles are mid-level and only 6% ask for 10 or more years of experience. If you have a few years under your belt, you are the target candidate.

  • CRM and Salesforce stand out

CRM is named in 26% of postings and Salesforce in 14%. Worth knowing before you apply, since these come up far more than any other tool in this market.

New Sales roles each week

Last 30 days: 359 new roles, against 193 the 30 days before (+86%). Each week counts the same companies, and a role counts as new only in the week it was posted, so a careers site we start reading never shows up as growth.

How we count

Ashney reads companies' own careers sites directly, hourly, not job boards. A role posted for many cities counts once, and staffing agencies are left out. A role counts as new in the week it was posted, and every change is measured at the same companies in both periods, so a careers site we start reading never shows up as growth. The written read is by the Ashney Intelligence Engine from this issue's numbers only, and every number and employer in it is checked against them before it is published. This report is written weekly; issue of 2 November 2026.
