Issue of 2 November 2026

This week's read

Sales hiring in Brazil picked up fast. In the last 30 days, companies posted 570 new sales roles, up from 247 in the 30 days before, a rise of 131%. There are now 1,145 open sales roles across 359 companies, and the typical role stays open 20 days before it is taken off the market.

Most of that growth traces back to one name. Stone posted 158 new roles in the last 30 days, up 394% from 32 the month before, and now has 150 open roles, the most of any employer. Stonepatrocina is close behind with 141 open roles. Together, the eight biggest employers hold 41% of all open sales roles, so a handful of companies set the pace here.

Look at what these jobs ask for before you apply. The typical posting wants at least 5 years of experience, and 8% ask for 10 years or more, so this is not an entry level market. Only 22% of postings state a years requirement at all, and just 7% of roles are remote, so most sales jobs in Brazil still expect you in person.

On skills, CRM tools are named in 14% of postings and Salesforce specifically in 12%, well ahead of anything else. AI and machine learning show up in 4% of postings. By industry, SaaS comes up most at 9%, with fintech at 5%. Most roles, 89%, are listed at mid level, with senior titles at just 4%.

What this means for you

Three things you can act on this week

  • Target Stone and Stonepatrocina

These two employers alone list 150 and 141 open sales roles, and Stone's new postings jumped 394% in a month. They are the biggest sources of new openings right now.

  • Expect to show 5+ years

The typical posting asks for at least 5 years of experience, and 8% want 10 years or more. Only 22% of postings state a years requirement, so check each listing closely.

  • Know CRM tools, especially Salesforce

CRM is named in 14% of postings and Salesforce specifically in 12%, the two most common technology mentions in this market. Few postings ask for AI or machine learning skills.

Momentum

New Sales roles each week

Last 30 days: 570 new roles, against 247 the 30 days before (+131%). Each week counts the same companies, and a role counts as new only in the week it was posted, so a careers site we start reading never shows up as growth.

How we count

Ashney reads companies' own careers sites directly, hourly, not job boards. A role posted for many cities counts once, and staffing agencies are left out. A role counts as new in the week it was posted, and every change is measured at the same companies in both periods, so a careers site we start reading never shows up as growth. The written read is by the Ashney Intelligence Engine from this issue's numbers only, and every number and employer in it is checked against them before it is published. This report is written weekly; issue of 2 November 2026.
