Issue of 2 November 2026This week's read
There are 317 open marketing roles in Brazil right now, spread across 170 companies. New postings over the last 30 days came in at 175, up 35% from the 130 posted in the 30 days before that. But look at the week-by-week picture: the busiest week was 19 October with 53 new roles, and the most recent week, 26 October, had 39, a drop of 26% from that peak. So the month looks strong, but the pace has slowed from where it was.
Hiring is spread out. The top 8 employers together hold just 28% of all open roles, so there is no single company you need to watch closely. VML Enterprise Solutions has the most open roles, followed by WPP Media. BTG Pactual and Amazon also show up among the bigger hirers, but with far fewer roles each.
Roles stay open a median of 17 days, which gives you a rough sense of how fast these positions move once posted. Only 16% of open roles are remote, so most marketing jobs here still expect you in an office. On experience, the median minimum asked for is 4 years, and only 7% of postings want 10 years or more, so this is not a market dominated by very senior hires.
When it comes to skills named in postings, Meta Ads leads at 17%, with TikTok close behind at 15%. CRM and Google Ads each appear in 12% of postings read. These numbers tell you what employers are naming most often, not what you must have to apply.
What this means for you
Three things you can act on this week
- Don't chase one employer
The top 8 companies hold only 28% of open roles. Spread your search across many employers rather than fixating on VML Enterprise Solutions or WPP Media alone.
- Remote is rare here
Just 16% of roles are remote. If you need to work from home, filter early so you don't waste time on office-based postings.
- Mid-level experience fits best
The median ask is 4 years, and only 7% of postings want 10 years or more. If you have a few years behind you, you're in the main pool of candidates employers want.
Momentum
New Marketing roles each week
Last 30 days: 175 new roles, against 130 the 30 days before (+35%). Each week counts the same companies, and a role counts as new only in the week it was posted, so a careers site we start reading never shows up as growth.
