Issue of 2 November 2026

This week's read

New People & HR postings in Brazil jumped 71% in the past 30 days, with 53 new roles added. That follows a steady climb over the last two months, and the most recent week was the busiest one yet.

There are 158 open People & HR roles right now, spread across 103 companies. The top 8 employers account for only 30% of all openings, so hiring is not concentrated in a handful of firms. Mercado Libre leads with 11 open roles, followed by Amazon, DiDi Global and HR PATH.

Most of these roles target mid-level professionals, who make up 78% of postings. Only 30% of listings state a minimum years of experience, so many ads leave this open. When a minimum is given, the median ask is 4 years.

Remote work is rare here: just 2% of roles are remote. On tools, LMS and Workday are the most requested, each named in 7% of postings, but no single skill dominates the listings.

Roles also don't stay open long. The median time a position stays live is 16 days. With postings climbing for two months straight, this is a good week to move quickly.

What this means for you

Three things you can act on this week

  • Act fast, roles move quickly

The median time a role stays open is just 16 days, and postings have been climbing for two months straight. If you see a fit, apply right away rather than waiting.

  • Don't skip ads without a years requirement

Only 30% of open roles state a minimum years of experience. When they do, the median ask is 4 years, so broader postings are worth a look even if you're unsure you qualify.

  • Plan for on-site or hybrid work

Just 2% of People & HR roles in Brazil are listed as remote. Most of your search will involve office-based roles, so factor that into where you look and apply.

Momentum

New People roles each week

Last 30 days: 53 new roles, against 31 the 30 days before (+71%). Each week counts the same companies, and a role counts as new only in the week it was posted, so a careers site we start reading never shows up as growth.

How we count

Ashney reads companies' own careers sites directly, hourly, not job boards. A role posted for many cities counts once, and staffing agencies are left out. A role counts as new in the week it was posted, and every change is measured at the same companies in both periods, so a careers site we start reading never shows up as growth. The written read is by the Ashney Intelligence Engine from this issue's numbers only, and every number and employer in it is checked against them before it is published. This report is written weekly; issue of 2 November 2026.
