Issue of 2 November 2026This week's read
There are 336 open Customer Success roles across 217 companies in the rest of Asia-Pacific right now. A typical role stays open for 33 days, so you have some room to prepare a strong application rather than rush one out.
The weekly flow of new postings peaked the week of 19 October, then slipped 12% by the following week. Over the full 30-day window, new postings are down 6% compared to the 30 days before. The market has not stopped hiring, but it has pulled back a bit from its best week.
SolarWinds and Maersk post the most roles right now, followed by Amazon and Wing Assistant, with Alter Domus, JPMorganChase, Hewlett Packard Enterprise and MMC rounding out the top group. Together these eight companies hold 18% of all open roles, so most of the market sits with smaller or less visible employers.
If you want a desk job, know that only 10% of open roles are remote, so most expect you in an office or on a hybrid setup. On skills, CRM tools are named in 21% of postings and Salesforce in 16%, well ahead of anything else on the list.
The experience bar here is not steep. The median role asks for 3 years of minimum experience, and only 5% of postings want 10 or more years. That points to a market where solid mid-level experience is enough for most openings, not a long track record.
What this means for you
Three things you can act on this week
- Expect a slower week over week pace
New postings are down 12% from the week of 19 October and 6% over the full month. Keep applying, but do not expect the flood of new roles seen a few weeks ago.
- Office presence is the norm
Only 10% of open roles are remote. If location flexibility matters to you, check each listing closely rather than assuming remote work is common here.
- CRM and Salesforce stand out
CRM tools appear in 21% of postings and Salesforce in 16%, well ahead of other named tools. Highlighting hands on experience with these may help your application stand out.
Momentum
New Customer Success roles each week
Last 30 days: 103 new roles, against 110 the 30 days before (-6%). Each week counts the same companies, and a role counts as new only in the week it was posted, so a careers site we start reading never shows up as growth.
