Issue of 2 November 2026

This week's read

There are 893 open Delivery Manager roles across Europe right now, spread across 408 companies. The pace of new postings has picked up fast: 269 new roles appeared in the last 30 days, against 165 in the 30 days before that, a 63% jump. Weekly postings have climbed steadily too, from 21 in the week of 7 September to 99 in the week of 26 October, the highest so far.

This is not an entry-level market. The median minimum experience asked for is 5 years, and 15% of postings want 10 years or more. Only 2% of roles are aimed at juniors, while 57% sit at mid level and 22% at senior level. If you are early in your career, this is a tough market to break into right now.

Capgemini has the most open roles, 62, followed by PWC with 35 and Amazon with 27. CNT Management Consulting and DXC Technology each have 23 open, with HR PATH at 21, Atos at 17 and Accenture at 16. Together these eight companies hold a quarter of all open roles, so there is still a long tail of smaller employers worth checking.

Few of these jobs let you work from anywhere: only 8% are remote, and the same share, 8%, even state a salary, so it is hard to say what the market typically pays. On skills, SAP shows up in 15% of postings and SAP S/4HANA in 13%, with AI and machine learning named in 10%. Agile is asked for in 14% of roles and ITIL in 7%, while certifications are less common: PMP appears in 5% and PRINCE2 in 3%.

What this means for you

Three things you can act on this week

  • Expect to show years, not just skills

Most postings ask for a minimum of 5 years, and 15% want 10 years or more. If you are early career, this market will be harder to crack right now.

  • Check the big eight, then look wider

Capgemini, PWC and Amazon have the most open roles, but the top 8 employers only hold a quarter of all postings. Smaller employers account for most of the market.

  • Don't expect salary upfront

Only 8% of postings state pay, so you will likely need to ask directly or wait until later interview stages to learn the number.

Momentum

New Delivery roles each week

Last 30 days: 269 new roles, against 165 the 30 days before (+63%). Each week counts the same companies, and a role counts as new only in the week it was posted, so a careers site we start reading never shows up as growth.

How we count

Ashney reads companies' own careers sites directly, hourly, not job boards. A role posted for many cities counts once, and staffing agencies are left out. A role counts as new in the week it was posted, and every change is measured at the same companies in both periods, so a careers site we start reading never shows up as growth. The written read is by the Ashney Intelligence Engine from this issue's numbers only, and every number and employer in it is checked against them before it is published. This report is written weekly; issue of 2 November 2026.
