Issue of 2 November 2026This week's read
There are 373 open Delivery Manager roles across the rest of Asia-Pacific right now, spread across 118 companies. New postings rose 22% over the last 30 days compared with the 30 days before that, and the weekly pace is at its highest point of the last two months, not easing off.
Look closer at who is hiring and one name stands out. Deloitte SEA alone lists 121 open roles, close to 1 in 3 of every Delivery Manager job in the market. Add the rest of the top 8 employers, including PWC and Visa, and that group holds 56% of all open roles between them, even though 118 companies are hiring in total.
This is an experienced person's market. Among roles that state a minimum, the typical ask is 5 years, and 17% of postings want 10 years or more. That lines up with the title mix: 29% of open roles are senior, and only 5% are junior.
SAP comes up often. SAP S/4HANA is named in 24% of postings and SAP more broadly in 18%. Agile is asked for in 18% of postings and PMP is named in 7%. Remote work is rare here: only 7% of open roles are remote, so plan on being based near the employer.
Roles stay open a median of 25 days before they are filled or closed, which gives you a sense of how fast to move once something fits.
What this means for you
Three things you can act on this week
- Check Deloitte SEA first
With 121 open roles, close to a third of the whole market, Deloitte SEA is the single biggest source of Delivery Manager jobs right now. It is worth a direct look alongside PWC and Visa, the next largest employers.
- Expect an experience bar
The typical posting asks for 5 years minimum, and 17% want 10 years or more. If you are earlier in your career, look for the smaller share of roles that do not state a years requirement.
- Plan to be on-site
Only 7% of open roles are remote. Most Delivery Manager hiring in this market expects you to be based near the employer, so factor that into where you apply.
Momentum
New Delivery roles each week
Last 30 days: 67 new roles, against 55 the 30 days before (+22%). Each week counts the same companies, and a role counts as new only in the week it was posted, so a careers site we start reading never shows up as growth.
