Issue of 2 November 2026This week's read
Project Manager hiring in Brazil picked up speed. In the last 30 days, 51 new roles were posted, up from 39 in the 30 days before that, a 31% rise. Weekly postings climbed from 7 in early September to 16 by the week of 5 October, and stayed at 16 the week of 26 October, so the pace has not slowed from its high point.
Hiring is spread across a lot of companies. There are 88 companies with open roles, and the top 8 employers together hold only 30% of them. Mercado Libre has the most open roles at 9, with Amazon, Tgs and TransPerfect 4 each at 6. With 134 roles open and that much spread, it is worth looking past the biggest names.
Most of these roles are not for senior leaders. 81% of open postings are at mid level, and only 11% are senior. None ask for 10 or more years of experience, and where a minimum is stated, the median is 3 years. Only 27% of postings state a years requirement at all, so many ads leave this open.
On tools, Microsoft Project and PMP each appear in 18% of postings, Scrum in 14%, and Agile and Jira each in 11%. Power BI is the most named tech skill at 11%. Remote options are scarce: only 6% of open roles are remote. Roles also move fast, with a median of 23 days open before they come down.
What this means for you
Three things you can act on this week
- Move fast once you apply
Roles stay open a median of 23 days. With postings up 31% in the last month, new openings are appearing often, so check back regularly rather than waiting.
- Aim at mid-level roles
81% of postings are mid-level and only 11% are senior, with none asking for 10-plus years. If you have a few years of experience, you are in the biggest pool of openings.
- Note what's named most often
Microsoft Project and PMP each appear in 18% of postings, Scrum in 14%, and Agile and Jira in 11%. These show up often enough to be worth knowing before interviews.
Momentum
New Project Management roles each week
Last 30 days: 51 new roles, against 39 the 30 days before (+31%). Each week counts the same companies, and a role counts as new only in the week it was posted, so a careers site we start reading never shows up as growth.
