Issue of 2 November 2026This week's read
There are 102 open Product Manager roles in Brazil right now, spread across 58 companies. Over the last 30 days, 64 new roles were posted, up 28% from the 50 posted in the prior 30 days. That is a strong month, but the week-by-week picture shows the pace has already eased: postings peaked at 24 in the week of 19 October, then dropped to 19 the following week, a 21% pull-back from that high point.
The median role stays open for 21 days, so most postings do not disappear overnight. Amazon has the most open roles at 10, followed by Inter with 7, and Bees and BTG Pactual with 5 each. AB InBev, iFood Carreiras and Johnson & Johnson each have 4, and CI&T has 3. Together these eight companies hold 41% of all open roles, so a large share of the market sits outside the biggest names.
Most roles are written for the middle of the career ladder. 72% of postings are mid-level, while senior roles make up 16% and principal roles 7%. Only 5% are junior and just 1% are lead-level. Where years of experience are stated, the median minimum is 5 years, and 15% of postings ask for 10 or more, though only 20% of all open roles mention a years requirement at all.
Fintech and payments show up often in these postings: fintech is named in 20% of roles and payments in 10%, with SaaS and financial services each at 8%. On the skills side, AI and machine learning is asked for in 31% of postings and SQL in 26%, while Agile is named in 26% and Jira and Scrum each in 12%. Remote work is scarce, with only 5% of open roles listed as remote.
What this means for you
Three things you can act on this week
- Expect office or hybrid work
Only 5% of open Product Manager roles in Brazil are listed as remote, so plan your search around in-person or hybrid roles rather than fully remote ones.
- Aim your pitch at mid-level
72% of postings are written for mid-level Product Managers, far more than senior or principal roles. If you fit that band, you match most of the market.
- Fintech and payments background helps
Fintech is named in 20% of postings and payments in 10%. If your experience touches either, it lines up with a meaningful share of what employers are asking for.
Momentum
New Product roles each week
Last 30 days: 64 new roles, against 50 the 30 days before (+28%). Each week counts the same companies, and a role counts as new only in the week it was posted, so a careers site we start reading never shows up as growth.
