Issue of 2 November 2026This week's read
Right now there are 353 open customer support roles in Mexico, spread across 193 companies. New postings over the last 30 days came to 117, up 22% from the 96 posted in the previous 30 days. That is a real gain, but the weekly numbers tell a more mixed story.
New roles climbed steadily from early September through mid-October, then hit a peak of 38 in the week of 19 October. The most recent week brought 30 new roles, down 21% from that peak. So while the month as a whole is busier than the one before it, hiring has slowed from its best week.
OneMCI leads the employer list with 14 open roles, followed by NTT DATA Services and icorp with 10 each, and HSBC with 9. Together, the top 8 employers hold only 20% of all open roles, which means most of the hiring is spread across a long list of smaller employers rather than concentrated in a few big names.
Roles typically stay open for 25 days, and most ask for a median of 3 years of experience, with only 8% asking for 10 or more. Remote work is rare here, making up just 7% of open roles, so most of this hiring is tied to a location. On the skills side, Microsoft Windows is the most asked-for technology, named in 16% of postings, while ITIL shows up in 9%, the most common of the working methods listed.
What this means for you
Three things you can act on this week
- Monthly growth, weaker latest week
Postings are up 22% over 30 days, but the most recent week is down 21% from the October peak. Don't assume the fastest pace is still happening right now.
- Look past the biggest names
The top 8 employers hold only 20% of open roles. OneMCI, NTT DATA Services, icorp and HSBC are leading, but most roles sit with smaller companies worth checking directly.
- Remote is scarce, experience bar is low
Only 7% of roles are remote, so plan for an in-person or local role. Most postings ask for a median of 3 years experience, with just 8% wanting 10 or more.
Momentum
New Customer Support roles each week
Last 30 days: 117 new roles, against 96 the 30 days before (+22%). Each week counts the same companies, and a role counts as new only in the week it was posted, so a careers site we start reading never shows up as growth.
