This week's read

There are 104 open Talent Acquisition roles in Mexico right now, spread across 85 companies. That spread matters: no single employer is cornering this market. The top 8 employers together hold only 19% of all open roles, so you are not chasing a handful of big players, you are choosing among many.

The pace of hiring has picked up. In the last 30 days, 33 new roles were posted, up from 27 in the previous 30 days, a 22% rise. Looking week by week, the newest week (26 Oct) logged 10 new roles, matching the peak for the period, so the pace has not eased off.

Experience requirements are moderate. The median minimum asked is 3 years, and none of the postings ask for 10 or more years. Mid-level titles dominate, making up 76% of roles, while senior titles are 12% and junior roles 8%. If you're early or mid-career, this is a market built for you.

On tools, ATS knowledge is the most asked-for skill, named in 32% of postings, followed by LinkedIn Recruiter at 20% and Workday at 16%. Greenhouse shows up in 10% of roles, and AI and machine learning familiarity is asked for in 8%. Certifications barely register: PHR appears in just 1% of postings, and methods like Agile, Jira, Lean and Six Sigma each show up in only 1% as well.

Remote work is scarce here. Only 8% of open roles are remote, so most hiring still expects you in an office. Among named employers, DiDi Global, Insideouthiring, LTIMindtree and Teleperformance Agents each list 3 open roles, the most of any company tracked, though none stands out as dominant given how thin the top-8 share is overall.

What this means for you

Three things you can act on this week

  • Hiring is picking up

New postings rose 22% over the last 30 days, and the weekly pace has not slowed. This is a good week to be active in your search.

  • Lead with ATS and recruiter tools

ATS knowledge appears in 32% of postings, LinkedIn Recruiter in 20%, and Workday in 16%. Make sure these show up clearly on your resume if you have them.

  • Don't expect to work remote

Only 8% of open roles are remote. Plan your search assuming you'll need to be in an office, and treat remote listings as the exception, not the rule.

New Recruiting roles each week

Last 30 days: 33 new roles, against 27 the 30 days before (+22%). Each week counts the same companies, and a role counts as new only in the week it was posted, so a careers site we start reading never shows up as growth.

How we count

Ashney reads companies' own careers sites directly, hourly, not job boards. A role posted for many cities counts once, and staffing agencies are left out. A role counts as new in the week it was posted, and every change is measured at the same companies in both periods, so a careers site we start reading never shows up as growth. The written read is by the Ashney Intelligence Engine from this issue's numbers only, and every number and employer in it is checked against them before it is published. This report is written weekly; issue of 7 November 2026.
